Therapeutic Strength

Strength is therapeutic — and it’s for every body, no matter where you are on the spectrum of being a human. Strength at Tidal Work moves from stabilization in the joints while experiencing chronic or acute illness to prepping for a marathon and everything in between.

This is for building capacity: for hard things, for lifting your life, for trusting your body under load. Everything has the ability to scale up or down — the same practice can be your gentle day or your challenge day depending on how you turn the volume knobs of each movement.

Common questions

I’ve never strength trained. Can I start here?

Yes — start with the tutorials, which break each movement down step by step. “For everyone” level practices assume nothing.

Do I need weights?

Some practices use them, many don’t — bodyweight, walls, and household objects carry a lot of this work. Each video lists what you’ll need.
