This week's Open Practice is a direct response to the experience of poor air quality on the east coast. We are invited to stay close to the floor but play with different shapes that evoke joy and freedom in the body, opening up the hip flexors, adductors, and many other teeny tiny sticky spots in the pelvis. Many of these shapes look fancier than they are, so remember that you always have so many options in your own experience! Lots of volume knobs are called out, but feel free to take anything completely different. The most important thing is to make space for your own body experience. Open Practice is a weekly practice dedicated to building deep listening skills and personal body autonomy. Like all content on Tidal Work, you are encouraged to make this practice your own. Unlike other content, Open Practice is taught with extra time to attune to whatever is going on in your body and with lots of options for changing the volume.
